On November 20th, Ma Zhenru, Party Secretary of the Department of Foreign Languages, Shantou Vocational Technical College and his 16-member delegation visited our college to exchange on relevant subjects such as party building, professional group construction, three teaching reform, Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools, laboratory construction and so on. At the meeting, Jing Haiming introduced the general picture （general situation) and majors of School of Applied Foreign Languages. Subsequently, the teaching and research sections of both sides and the teachers in charge of college English teaching conducted one-on-one in-depth discussions and exchanges.
应用外语学院响应学校结对帮扶计划的决策部署，在党建帮扶、人才培养帮扶、师资队伍帮扶、科研创新帮扶等方面全面帮扶汕头职院外语系，实现抱团取暖、协同发展，共同为实现全省高职“扩容、提质、强服务”贡献“广轻外语力量”。
In response to the decision-making and deployment of the college’s twinning assistance program, School of Applied Foreign Languages comprehensively helps the Foreign Languages Department of Shantou Vocational Technical College in the aspects of party building assistance, personnel training assistance, teaching staff assistance, scientific research and innovation assistance, etc., so as to achieve group warmth and coordinated development, and jointly contribute to the realization of "expanding capacity, improving quality and strengthening service" in higher vocational colleges across the province.
