由教育部职业院校外语类专业教学指导委员会指导，外语教学与研究出版社主办的2020年“外研社·国才杯”大学生英语演讲大赛（高职高专组）（广东赛区）11月15日在广东科贸职业学院顺利落下帷幕。由我校应用外语学院舒立志和于秀珍老师指导的物流181班冯一琛同学，表现优异，最终在全省72名选手中排名第二，获得广东省复赛特等奖，并晋级国赛。由我校应用外语学院刘福英和项伟峰老师指导的商英195班徐淑仪同学表现出色，荣获广东省二等奖。Guided by the Foreign Language Teaching Steering Committee of Vocational Colleges of the Ministry of Education and sponsored by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, the 2020 "FLTRP National Talent Cup" English Speech Contest for College Students (Higher Vocational College Group) (Guangdong Division) ended successfully in Guangdong Vocational College of Science and Trade on November 15th. Feng Yichen of Logistics Class 181, directed by Mr Shu Lizhi and Mrs Yu Xiuzhen from School of Applied Foreign Languages of our college, performed well, and finally ranked second among 72 contestants in the province, and won the special prize of Guangdong Rematch, and advanced (made it) to the national competition. Xu Shuyi, a student of Business English Class 195, who was instructed by Mrs Liu Fu Ying and Mr Xiang Weifeng from the School of Applied Foreign Languages of our college, performed well and won the second prize of Guangdong Province.
本次大赛分上午和下午两场，英语专业组和非英语专业组一起比赛，同场竞技。上午部分为3分钟定题演讲和1分钟即兴问答，前50%的学生晋级下午决赛。下午部分为1分钟即兴英文演讲。（图文/应用外语学院 舒立志 程雅婧）This contest is divided into two sessions in the morning and afternoon. English majors and non-English majors compete together in the same arena. In the morning part, there are a 3-minute topic-specific speech and a 1-minute impromptu question and answer, and the first 50% of the students will advance to the afternoon finals.
